MEET MY CHARACTER: Josh Kleine from Parisian Amour

Meet My Character Blog Hop Monday about Josh Kleine in Parisian Amour by Beth BaranyHi and Welcome to the Meet My Character Monday Blog Hop! This week I’m going to introduce you to Josh Kleine, the hero of Parisian Amour, my third novella in the series.

What is the name of your character? Is he/she fictional or a historic person?

Josh is the hero of Parisian Amour. He’s fictional, sprung from my imagination.

When and where is the story set?

The story is set in one of my favorite cities in the world, Paris, France, in contemporary times during a stormy December.

What should we know about him?

Josh is a hard-working, conscientious guy. He loves his dog, Sally, and he’s got good long-term friends.

What messes up his life?

He’s tended to fall hard and fast for women and mess up his professional life.

What is the main conflict?

In Parisian, Amour, Josh is distracted from his conference presentation by the beautiful Sarah. He also feels drawn to the tunnels under Paris and loses track of time. Lastly, he hears a dragon crying with deep sorrow and feels that deeply.

What is the personal goal of the character?

He wants his business to be a success and to one day have a family and a wife.

Where can we read more about it?
