I write kick ass heroine fantasy stories. Why, you may wonder…

Because:

I loved fairy tales and folk tales, but when I was a kid I never saw any adventure stories about strong girls and young women. So that’s what I write about. I write what I wish I could have read when I was young.

More about my fantasy here.

Because:

We need role models.

Because:

I want to be the hero I’m waiting for.

If not me, who?
If not now, when?

"If I am not for myself, who is for me? And being for my own self, what am 'I'? And if not now, when?" -- Hillel the Elder
“If I am not for myself, who is for me? And being for my own self, what am ‘I’? And if not now, when?” — Hillel the Elder

Because:

I chose fiction to be my art and love first and foremost stories about strong young women. Read an excerpt about Henrietta The Dragon Slayer here.

Because:

Kick ass heroines make the rules and rock. Here’s seven posts I wrote on the characteristics of bad ass or kick ass heroines and their archetypes.

Which kick ass heroines do you like? Comment below. Thanks!
