I’m a huge believer in having women and girls represented in media in all the ways women and girls show up in the real world, and in all the ways we women and girls can dream up.
Even today after lots more opportunities for women and girls to be represented in media, there’s still a need for more.

This is why I write kick ass heroines who get to star in their own adventures.

This is why I write entrepreneurial romance heroines getting their dreams and their loves.
And this is why I volunteered this past week at Camp Reel Stories, a digital media camp for girls in Oakland.

And that is why — if you want to support girls behind the camera and in front of it in all our diversity, you are invited to come to their film festival Saturday, July 16, 9:30am-12pm. California Theatre, 2113 Kittredge Street, downtown Berkeley.

Cost: Sliding Scale Donation. Thanks!
