I love Paris. The Metro, the bridges, and the medieval churches and streets. And did I say the Metro?
I dreamed of the Metro before I arrived there for the first time to live and work as a nanny in my early 20s. (After dropping out of UC Berkeley. Don’t worry. I eventually went back and got my Bachelors degree.)
When I was dreaming up the next story in my Touchstone series, I stared at a wall in my office.
And there was my inspiration.
A photo of Paris and beside it an image of a dragon. (My office is a colorful place!)
That was it! What if there was a dragon in Paris, underground the city, under the Metro?
And so I wrote that story, which is now Parisian Amour, Book 3 in the Touchstone series.
